Description

The Intellinet 509183 SFP to SFP Gigabit Ethernet Media Converter is a versatile option that includes two empty slots for flexible use with either Gigabit multi-mode or single-mode 1.25G Mini GBIC SFP fiber modules. It supports various combinations of SFP (Mini-GBIC) fiber transceivers, including different wavelengths (850/1310/1550 nm), converting between multi-mode and single-mode as needed. For longer distances, it can handle up to 100 km (62 mi.) and is also hot-swappable for easy network upgrades or replacements. This converter can function standalone or be used with the 14-slot Media Converter Chassis (model 507356). With plug-and-play installation and no configuration required, it is fully NDAA-compliant and comes with a three-year warranty.
